My Story

From the age of 6 I discovered my love for horses. I was lucky enough to have a relative that already had riding as a hobby. From 8 years old I have owned a few different types. My first ever pony was a little New Forest called Bounty but there were a couple in between that I had progressed onto as I got taller. My love for eventing was discovered when I was introduced to my grey Irish gelding,  Bertie. We have competed many unaffiliated dressage, show jumping and cross country events and even a couple of affiliated BE events. We learned so much together. From being a nervous rider clearing a complete 80cm show jumping course, to being able to ride confidently at the top of the wings and experience hunting. Since Bert, I decided the time had come to start with an inexperienced youngster. I came across Spotty, a Warmblood, who I am lucky enough to have on a long-term loan from a friend. He has gone from a happy hacker to completing our first BD in just under 2 years. My aim is to be able to compete him at a good level BE and my dream is to be able to compete at an international level. With hard work and dedication I think almost anything is possible!

From the age of 11 I have worked on various different yards. I started just by mucking out but soon had the opportunity to work at a hunting yard, dressage, polo and eventing yards, where I had to turn out to a very high standard, exercise and care for multiple horses on a daily basis. This includes grooming for Niki Ryan. I enjoy working with horses of all types and ages and in different fields whether it's a companion or an international event horse!

My aim is to keep your horse in tip top condition and care for them like I would my own!
